Default sunroofs?

I am interested in getting two sunfroofs in my XB. I would like the front one to be operational and the back one to be for looks. Anyone have any idea how much this might cost and where it can be done? Thanks! :D

Go to Advanced Specialties in La Habra. They are off Lambert next door to Boyd Codington

Dealership charges $1200 installed for the front or $3600 for all three (front, and two rear that are non-operational).

I just had the front one installed. Very clean job and warrantied!

I really like the idea of one operational in the front and two non-op in the back. More info please if anyone has any. More specifically, does anyone know if the d/ship's in Cali slang those?

I would imagine all dealerships offer it, although cost may vary. $1200 is what they charged me in Fairfax, VA.

What other info do you want?

The front sunroof has full open and tilt function, with sliding interior cover.

The control panel is on the roof above the mirror. It has four buttons: open, close, tilt, auto feature (whether you want it to close or not when car is turned off). The buttons illuminate green when car is on.

Install seems professional and clean, so far as I can tell.

Lifetime warranty, guaranteed not to leak.

Skywalker,
Sounds cool. I guess I am not real sure what other information I needed. But you gave
me a cool idea of what it's like and how it works, thanks. I will be contacting my local d/ship and will see if they offer it.
Do you have pix? I would like to see the one that you have. Thanks.

I started another thread last night about it in the XB forum. Unfortunately I couldn't get high enough above the car to take worthwhile pics and it's too damn cold over here to mess around outside. I'll try to get some shots of it this weekend when I'm tinting my windows. Check back in that thread in a few days.

For the price, it was well worth it for a professional, warrantied install. Plus it's not one of those generic ones you see small dealerships installing on honda civics.
