How light of a flywheel should I get? Fidanza? Unorthodox?

Ok so im building up my ride, I/H/E, NST pulleys, and in a few months TRD supercharger, my question is how light of a flywheel should I get? What determines this? Is it based on how much hp you are running? Ive seen offerings from Fidanza, Unorthodox, etc... that have 11.5 lb flywheels or superlite 9.5 lb flywheels. What should I get? Also, is the weight of the flywheel at all related to what type of clutch kit you need to buy? (Stage I, Stage II, kevlar disk, twin plate, etc... etc....)
Another aspect to consider is where most of the weight is located. The performance of one weighing 11 pounds could be as good as one that's only 9 pounds, if the former's mass is close to the center and the latter's is situated at the outer edge.

Yes having taking a sev physics classes i have to 100% agree with that statement, but lets pretend for a second that the weight distributions are proportionately identical, then what do I base my choice on?
well from my experiance lighter flywheels allow motor to free up RPM acceleration and deceleration, basically one that is lighter than stock allows car to rev faster and derev faster, which is also important.......
As for which is best I do not really know, probably depends on the use,I know some lighter flywheels lead to stalling when at a stop ,not exactly sure why that is,maybe they help keep the motor turning due to revolving mass......not really sure.......my physics sucks........lol
What you plan on using the car for track days 1/4mile,DD......???

Another good option to consider is the SPEC line of clutches and flywheels.
We list a few of the more popular on our website...
http://www.nonstoptuning.com/SPEC/pSpecClutch.html
SPEC offers more than a thousand clutch and flywheel options on their website and they are very good regarding customer service, questions, and recommendations.
Of course, you can always call us at NST and we'd be more than happy to chat with you as well.

Thanks for the info Mike, that line of products seems to be very high quality. I'll prob source from them when i need to do the clutch upgrade. just out of curiosity, how come you cant access that page from your regular Nonstoptuning.com website? I can't find any link to it other than the one you gave us.

Our site is being reworked in the very near future with an clutch & flywheel button/link/listing soon.
Let me know when you're ready for a clutch & flywheel package. I'd love to process an order for you!
