tC springs help!!
okay bought tanabe springs on monday and installed them yesterday. and after the whole install was finish i went out for a drive to test it out. nothing much jus a ride around the block. as soon as i hit the first driveway bump, the car makes a noise as if it is metal on metal inside the suspension, inside the car, over every bump and crack in the road, suspension makes a sound, so we thought the metal plate above the bump stop (which we removed), was causing it.
then today, took apart the rear suspension again to put the bump stops, cut the bump stops to accomodate the new springs, installed everything back with the bump stops, and tried to intentionally make the rear bounce to see if there was any noise left. and guess what it was still there.
what we are thinking is that the metal plate above the bump stop is moving and nothing is holding it down and cause it to make that noise.
any ideas on what it could be? or anyone know a way to get rid of the noise and still make sure its still runs cheeeeeryyy. i dont want to have that sound while i gots passengers and all..

How are their new threads on this every day? Literally... every day.
Three main things could cause this:
- the 3 nuts on the top of each strut tower, could be loose
- the one main nut at the top of the strut tower, could be loose
- sway bar endlink connections, could be loose
If it is not one of those three - also make sure the springs are seated on the strut perch properly (the first coil has a little dip it is supposed to sit in - if it is not sitting in there, you might have an issue).

also what i was thinking is that its the metal washer above the bump stop which is moving around and causing the noise..
