Default Replacing speakers

There has to be one somewhere but is their a DIY or a pdf file where i can get instructions to replace the door/tweeter speakers. Just ordred some infinitys but i don't know how to take off the door. Thanks if ya'll can help. Also i'm installing this
http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-AVH-P4...8811524&sr=1-1

Do i need anything special since the stock is already a Double Din?

*Edit- Can i take my stock fronts and move them to the rear? I turned on just the rears today and OMG they are WEAK. so since i have new front doors gonna do a switcharoo. or is just a waste of time?

The door of the xB is one of the easiest I've ever had to remove.
If I remember correctly there are only two screws holding it, along with a crapload of clips. One screw is in the door handle (the one you use to close the door), and the other is behind a plastic piece where you pull to open the door. Be careful removing the plastic piece.
On the front doors I believe you also need to take out or disconnect the power lock/window control thing. The front doors also need to have a plastic triangle piece removed (the one where the tweeter sits). Those just pop out.
Once you have all that removed, get a firm grip on the bottom of the plastic and pull away from the door. You will hear clips coming out. Go all around the door and pull gently. Double check that all of the white clips came out and are not in the metal frame but on the plastic you just took off.

That was probably confusing, but it's the best I can do without pictures.

By the way, you will need a wiring harness and a steering wheel control adaptor for the HU you want to install. You will also need some mounting hardware - two plastic strips one both sides of the radio. Toyota's radios are just a bit wider than a standard double din.

Use a drill to get the rivets out. I had the same problem...I guess thats how they save money these days. Every time I've changed speakers for this I have just taken the bolts out.

Your head unit will come with a wiring harness where one end plugs into the HU and the other end is a bunch of loose wires. You need to buy a Metra 70-1761 for the xB. One end will plug into the original radio harness and the other end will be a jumble of wires, just like the pioneer harness. Your job is to match up the colors and splice the same color cables together.

Thats the easy way to explaining it, you will want to follow the manual of the Pioneer HU and the Metra 70-1761 to make sure what your connecting does in fact match up.

How do you drill out the bolts with the speakers? When I was sound proofing my doors (refer to my DIY thread), I took a look at the speakers for future reference when I planned on replacing them, but I never did anything audio-related with cars before. I only have set up home entertainment sound systems, which seems loads easier to me as car audio seems complicated and intricate.

its REALLY simple
take a small drill bit
and bore into that little whole u saw. it will pop in. and
thats it.

really. then just disconnect that wire harness. install a new one in your new speakers (like i did) and ur off to go. NO you are not getting that harness out of the stock speakers. ____ is way tight.
