Sorry i couldn't snap a pic of the tornado... i was too busy driving. But, that would have captured my day.

Wow I didn't know the storms had got that bad. It's been raining off and on here all day with high wind and heavy downpours.

I'm hoping it will provide an incentive for everyone to pick up their cameras on a daily basis, me included.

yeah that's the biggest thing i need to work on. I've been told I have the eye/talent, just need to be behind the camera more.

You aren't too far off however. You can add GPS to the D90 but I'm not sure if it adds elevation to the exif data.

pffffttt Nikon is soo far behind. Canon users are telepathic and we just transmit all info to each other from one brain to the next. Poor nikon users.

and yet... lots and lots of software updates are always being released... why cant canon get their software right the first time or at least just update it once? :D :D tee-hee.

Thanks man. I was actually sitting a lot closer, a few rows behind home plate, but I had to get up and move because the net was in the way. Next time I'll take a longer lens. They didn't seem to care too much.

nice shot. I would've thrown on a nifty fifty and gone in for a closer shot and maybe focused on the blue chair and let the bokeh from the red and yellow be the background for the shot.

lol i was shooting through horribly dirty glass vinyl laminate windows. i could never let a lens get that dirty.

One of my wheel bearings has failed. I have 500 miles left on my warranty. If the dealership sees the hub spacers, I know they'll complain and not cover it. Awesomely enough, the spacers have decided to corrode and fuse to the brake drum. Not even the blowtorch can break it loose. FML.

I found this big pane of glass next to a dumpster yesterday while out taking car pics. It seemed like a waste to just let it be tossed out so I loaded it in the tC (it's 2'x6' go Scion!). This evening, after talking it over a bit with my friend Jack Daniels, we decided that no plan was needed and I should just dive into it. Figuratively, I'm not that drunk. This is what I've got so far.

There are ways to cut glass, but I don't know how risky it would be. I was kinda thinking about making some kind of lamp out of it. Sorta like this one,

VERY nice. I actually liked it B&W better. I'm a pencils and ink type artist rather than a bunch of color. But color does help add depth.
