I see alot of kits out or being developed for the tc's 2az-fe. Im wondering if these kits will be interchangeable with the solara's 2az-fe? anyone know?

mmm... I'm not sure how the engine bays compare, but almost certainly the manifold will fit, and probably the downpipe too. I'm not so sure about the charge pipes and intercooler, though.

im waitin for the exhaust manifold to come out. so i could use it for my solara. waiting to get my solara boosted. most of the engine parts of both cars are the same.

another 02 se solara...Ive been waiting for a while for options but it just didnt seem like they were coming. Now that the scion is sharing the engine as the solara and camry, we will have options! Let the boost begin. Now I just need a poly trd kit.

^^ not yet but the solaras from 02 and up (the 4 cylinders) have the same engine as the tc so tc turbo kit = (4 cyl) solara turbo kit. There are kits for the 5sfe and the 1mz but not 2az....until now!

it would seem that all the basic engine components should work, but i would test fit before buying. it also seems that all new piping will be needed for front mount intercooler. you can try contacting E.L. Prototypes. they know a lot about toyota. www.elprototypes.com

Scionspeed is going to install on a solara fab piping. If the kit works...they will start producing the solara and maybe camry 2az kits.....Then I will be producing smiles!
