ok so here is the deal im having a little trouble with my clutch and i cant figure it out and i dont want to say its the clutch just yet so im asking for help.

so here it goes my car starts fine in neutral but when i depress the clutch pedal my first gear wont go in or any of the other gears for that matter, but when i start the car in first it takes off and then i can keep going so thats why i think my clutch is ok. maybe out of adjustment? anyone have an answer or suggestion?

it has to be something in your master or slave cylinder. something isn't giving the clutch enough pressure to fully disengage.

thats what i'm thinking but do you think there might be any problems with the transmission itself such as the syncros and such i really pray that isn't it but we'll see

no, it is because the clutch can't get enough pressure to clear the shift gates, so it can't fully engage/disengage.

bad synchros would show if you were grinding gears while up/down shifting. this is a matter of low clutch pressure.

also, stop starting your car in gear, or else your starter motor will start hating life and go very quickly.
