YO,

Alright, so I just got my car back yesterday after 2 weeks of being in the shop (Long story short, old lady hit my car while it was parked, MAAAJJOOR suspension damage). My wheels were messed up as well. They were restored; however, I feel like it's time for a change after around 2 years. Right now I'm running a 225/45/17 tire with 17 x 8 wheels (quite frankly, I forgot the offset, lol). I really wanna stick with the tires that I've got, since they are fairly new. I'm hoping on running 17 x 9, +35, lowered on s-techs. Any possible issues that I may have? Any opinions will help out this wheel n00b, ahaha. Thanks!

Im pretty sure your gonna have rubbing with 9" inch wide wheels plus GL finding some in that offset that fit the tC. I dont think there are many.

The wider the wheel the less lower u can go.. i work at Discount Tires. and yea ill rubb on S-Techs i got the same thing gotta get coils but ill rather just run 225-45-17 on a 17-8.5 rim instead.. ^_^ 17-9 will work on the rears since it doesnt have to turn pop it to a -2.50 camber and you'll be good fronts not soo good lol

That offset is going to be an issue. Even if you figure that out, I think the 9inch application has the potential of touching the strut tower?

You can fit that it will just take some work, coilovers would be better, need to roll your fenders and run some more camber. There are people running more aggressive setups than that.
