Default Trouble Installing Stoptech SS Brake Lines!

On Friday, my bf and I attempted to install a set of front and rear SS Stoptech brake lines on my tC as well as bleed the lines. We started on the rear lines and got those installed with no problems. However, when we moved to the front, we found that the Stoptech lines wouldn't screw in to the feed line at the top. We struggled with it for at least an hour and no matter what we did we couldn't get the darn thing to screw in. So, we had to just put the OEM rubber line back in. Has anyone else had this problem? Was I sent the wrong brake lines for the front? I bought the lines on eBay so would Stoptech replace them in this case?

I have Goodridge lines installed and had no trouble (other than getting the initial clip off). They fit right on without any issues.

i just installed the stoptech SS lines without a problem. screwed right in with no problems. These were easier than getting the rotors off.

Did the male end of the feed line mushroomed? aka Flared out? I did my line install a few days ago and found out that my driver side flared out so much that it will not go back in. Asked a friend of mine who is good with a dremel to file it down a bit and now everything is fine.
