Anyone have the toyota subwoofer?
Was looking at this on trdsparks and thought it was a cool idea. I'm not into booming my head thru the windshield anymore, but figured it might be a nice way to add some thump.

Thats who we need ot be asking is the tC guys. I added a amped 8" behind the seat of my truck a while back, and liked the sound. It's kinda like what 6x9's give you, and they can rattle mirrors.

Well, I'm not sure this will replace the Infinity 12 as far as sound goes in my rig, but I sure could use the space. If anyone else has any input we'd love to hear it. Also, does anyone know if it comes for the left side also?

These guys sell it for $250. Sparks' website currently says TBA for the price, maybe they'll match this price. I think they sold it for $276.

Neither the Bazooka nor the much more expensive JL Audio Stealthbox work for me. I want a sub that doesn't take up any cargo space - and works with the cargo area cover that came with my RS6.0.
I looked at the Elemental Designs custom boxes, and like them very much, but didn't want to give up my spare tire (call me paranoid). So, I bought one of the Elemental Design SQ10 shallow mount subwoofers ($70 shipped) and a Rockford Fosgate P300-1 Amp ($159.95 shipped - 8% rebate) and am building my own box for the spare tire area that will allow me to keep the sub. The enclosure volume required for the SQ10 is only .35 cu. ft. So, by flipping the spare tire over, I can make a cylindrical enclosure of the required volume that fits inside the flipped spare.
I looked into using a 12" Pioneer thin subwoofer, but it required a 0.65 cu. ft. enclosure. I might be able to pull it off, but it would be a LOT more work. So, in the end, I have decided to go with the far simpler 10" SQ10 driver.
I'll have everything I need for this DIY project. Now, I just need to find the time to do it. I'll post pics when I do.
