Default Brake pads and rotors

Looking to do a rotor and brake upgrade. I don't want drilled rotors, and then the best brake pad. What do you guys suggest? The stock brakes suck lol. They heat up crazy quick, and fade sooo fast.

Rotora makes good rotors for our xBs, as for pads there's a few people that use TRD pads but I haven't looked into it. But, of course, if you want the best braking performance then you should get ready to empty your pockets for a BBK.

I'm gonna wait for Hawk pads to come out and then get some Brembo blank rotors if they ever make them.

Don't they make hawk pads already? IMO pads make a huge difference I might go to hawk or trd.

I've seen the EBC pads, are they any good? Reminds me of eco-friendliness instead of performance TBH.

See I wanted to save up for a BBK, but I can't justify it. The car performs decent now as far as braking before it fads. Its got more then enough braking power for me, I just want them not to fade when I push on it. I love in the middle of nowhere and somedays I just like to go on a cruise. I don't wanna half to worry about my brakes fading. I just don't see it necessary for my situation in life. As much as I would love to make them BBK just can't

So settling for what I can do right now but to still have a little fun. I will be getting most likely a TEIN coilover kit sometime mid to early next year, and then rims and tires as well.

idk if they are eco friendly there is almost no brake dust and stopping is way better than stock breaks imo

I've run EBC greenstuff pads on a few cars and they work great. Just got to want that green color showing through from the backside of the pads.

The color shows? I'll just get the red ones and call them "TRD".

Yeah the color shows. Just remember that the red stuff pads take a long time to bed in, they say up to 1000 miles, and that they really are designed for heavy cars with higher horsepower.

Pretty much decided on slotted rotors and semi-metallic pads for brake upgrade. Need source for stainless lines. Some universal kits out there but nothing made specifically for our box. Anyone find them?
