Hello, Scion tC looks like a really nice car, been seeing alot of videos of racing, views of the car. Question is, is it Worth getting?

OP, you will not get a response from anyone until you post some specifics... is it worth getting based on what?

 

Compared to other new cars in it's class / price range, it is an outstanding choice.

 

I wanted to get it in the first place but I ended up getting an xB. It all depends on what your comparisons are.

the bottom line is that for THIS PRICE. IN ITS CLASS. it is def. a great car to get. Now if your asking is it the best car out there? well def. not cus theirs always gonna be cars out there that have more power, better handling, etc. etc. But then again that goes for anything if you have the money to buy it right?

The closest i can imagine you debating is probably a HONDA civic SI. Now the SI is generally about what? 5k more than a tC? With that you can get a turbo kit or w/e you like and it will output more than a SI will any day. hahaha.

Does the tC have flaws? yup like any car im sure but the tC could def. have been made better. But it is a good car to mess around with and mod if your interested in that stuff.

 

get it.boost it. race it.love it.

 

dont buy something just because everyone else likes it. make sure it's right for YOU.

the thing is with cars. Once you buy something and you have it for a while, you awlays want something better, faster, etc.

 

hmm....save up a bit more and get a base model Genesis, 22k and you have a 2.0T with much more potential

 

For the price you get a decent car. But if you want something fast, look elsewhere.

 

Videos of racing? What racing? Street racing? If that's the case, don't even bother posting about it. You'll get zero respect here and probably flamed to eternity.

It is a nice car. Just make sure you compare EVERYTHING for the money.. though honestly I'd hold out for another year or so until its replacement is revealed/arrives (and no, it is NOT going to be the Toyobaru).

 

get a RDW or AWD car if you want performance.
