Will These Fogs Fit My 08 tC?
I'm looking into getting some aftermarket fogs for my tC and found these on Amazon:
I'm wondering if they will fit my 08 tC since it says only up to 07? Also how hard will these be to install for someone whose never done something like this before?

Those are the "JDM" style fogs that have been floating around ebay..they work but I heard they are kinda a PITA to install...search around on the forums you will find some info on them. However judging from the description they may be a little better than the ebay ones,,but I can't see the wiring harness well enough to be sure..
I would try and stick with the VRD or APT (ebay vrds) fogs..they cost a little bit more than those but those ones just plug and play and are very straight forward to install...the VRD/APT's also look a lot better IMO

okay thank you and i agree the VRD fogs look a lot better and have been searching for them but cant find them anywhere. I don't mind paying the extra money for them but i wish i could find them somewhere (preferably not ebay)
i don't see why you don't just do ebay. you know their authentic right? and everyone on here who has vrds have probably have bought them from ebay. It worked out fine for everyone. just a heads up. gl though
yeah i personally bought the APT fogs aka the VRD knockoffs from ebay. The only difference, so i've heard, is that the legit VRDs are made of a high heat resistant plastic lens. As compared to the APT fogs, they are glass. The glass lens is more prone to shatter if a pebble were to come into impact on high speeds. Whereas the plastic can at least absorb some impact and more likely to just leave a scratch. IDK i might be misinformed though. And those "JDM" style fogs.. looks too.. eh... Does anyone know why the hell they call those JDM or even JDM style? It's pointless to call em that. Maybe theres a reason why Toyota Dealers chose the VRDs.
lol sorry i got off topic. All tc's so far should have the same fitment with their fogs. But generally, they should just snap in after you take the bumper off and pop those black things off. Taking the bumper off is a little bit overkill on the labor but most definitely easier in the long run. Theres hella 10mm bolts along the fender, on top and under the bumper, holding the it into place though, so that should be fun. Good luck tho man!
i personally started of with the oem dealership fogs, then i switched to the vrd fogs, then i switched to the "jdm" style or ebay/amazon fogs, i like em alot better then the vrd, i see too many of them around, so in a sense i wanted to be different. it looks real clean on my FM tc
my fitment is flush with the bumper, i love these fogs, every car around here that i see have the small vrd ones (ones inside) or oem ones, i am glad to know there are only 2 tcs here that have this foglight. one of the tcs being me of course
