Default Is the 2010 xb going to be included in gas pedal recall?

Hi, i've been reading that some toyota products has a issue with the gas pedal getting stuck. Altho i have not read anything about the 2010 xb, i was wondering if this model will be included in any recalls since its toyota built and may share the same parts as other models. Anyone have info? Thanx

it was a floor mat recall. and it has been solved, what the problem was in all reality is people were doubling up on floor mats and they would slide forward. and people were not using the clips that held the floor mats in so again they would slide forward.

as for toyotas fault, they did have a batch of floor mats that were too thick which got stuck under the floor mat but now they are resolved

No, they are resolving the problem in the toyotas by installing a shorter pedal. They've already started doing that in japan and are going to here at the beginning of 2010.

if you don't want to die? keep all obstructive object away from the gas pedal.

The majority of those problems were with their Lexus brand.

I've never once had a problem with the floor mat getting caught on the pedal. If you clip it down properly you never will.

Since the 2009 XB was not part of the recall, I would have to assume that the 2010 would also not be part of it.
