Man, haven't been on SL in a long time. Anyway, this happened to me so I thought I'd share my lulz with you guys.

Yup, that's my RS1 CF front lip... in two pieces. Story: Was on my way up from Florida to NY and around 5am when it was still dark I hit a brand new fresh piece of tire. It was okay at first, Took the next exit, as I was pullin into the gas station I start hearing a gnarly scraping noise, followed by a quick moment of silence and two thuds. My buddy who was driving behind me, stopped and pick the lip up. Or the two parts of the remaining lip atleast. All I could do is LOL. Oh well. I'll buy a new one during the summer hopefully... After i get a new front bumper, the lip gettin torn off scratched it up pretty badly.

Yeah right? lol. I kept gettin scratches in the damn thing and I kept fixin the lip doin the dremel out scratches and spider cracks and epoxy method. And everytime i got a scratch or anything, it was always worse then the scratch I had previously fixed. Its almost like god was tryin to say "you should get a new lip" and finally the damage wound up it bein broken in half. Could definitely see him sayin "Oh dear that's a terrible shame... get a new lip" now lol. I'm think about gettin fiveaxis next... Soon as I land a good paying job. Kinda in the pooper right now.

take a dremel. and U dremel out the spider crack, scratch whatever it is. Pretty much all the way down to the carbon fiber but just short of it so u don't hit it. You'll end up with a pretty big hole(not really for the faint of heart, whenever i would dremel my lip my friend would cringe lol). Fill it up with clear epoxy. Wait 24 hours. sand it down, buff etc etc until its flat and looks good. I usually threw some clear coat over it too. Seemed to work really well for the short run. Not sure if the epoxy would start to discolor over time or not. Oldest repair I had was uhhhh, a good 6 months old and it came out real good. Couldn't see it right up until i split the lip.
