Default Removing rear wiper and filling the hole.

I know there was a guy who painted and sold a plug to fill the hole after the wiper assembly was removed. I need one. Any help? I usually use the search function but between Mopar pop-ups (well, hell they don't pop up- they are just there!) and the extreme unfriendlyness of the "new" site I find I am only visiting when absolutely necessary. Too bad as I used to just drop in to kill time and learn stuff. Anyway, thanks for the help!

Thanks jonathan! I'll take it and if it is black cherry pearl, I'd be happy to pay you. Seems the guy who had a bunch would paint 'em any color and they were around 8 or 9 american. Feel free to use this e-mail as I don't see a "PM" box or anything...

It's painted Torched Penny, it shouldn't cost much to get it repainted. I'll drop you a line Monday from my work email address.

You can also just PM the guy.

I've bought the keyhole covers and the wiper plug in the past, I got them in Black Cherry Pearl, They came out great!

X3. Gonna be cheaper to buy one painted BSP through him than take a free torched penny and have it re-painted somewhere.

Thanks all! Not sure I can get in touch with "keyhole guy" as site actually had no price for Xb wiper cover and the link just took me to a scionlife homepage...'round and 'round and 'round. Ayway, just straight e-mailed him. Meanwhile I would take Jonathans "burnt copper penny" one and be willing to pass it on gratis should the opportunity arise!

Hey, those spacers look cool. do you then run the new bolts as studs from the inside? Sorry 'bout the off-topic but while I was here..........

I got those, and after a year the paint has started to chip. Happy with it for the price, just be warned it doesn'tlast forever. Now I'm looking for just a black rubber button that would fill the space, won't have to worry about paint then.

I'm looking at True Value and Lowes hoping to find something.

you wont find a rubber plug because they are us mede @standard measurement. you have a metric sized hole. i used a metal pronged plug(1-1/8") painted it, cleared it and glued it in place with 3m weatherstrip cement. commonly called in the autobody trade as "canary sh#t"

i had 2 colors to paint.a solid will be way easier to do.

i just got a hole plug at the hardware store, and painted it myself with some extra hot lava paint i had. came out nice and cost me about a buck for the hole plug.
i siliconed the inside to keep the moisture out and keep it from rattling around.
you can get automotive paint in an aerosol can, and do your interior trim pieces, with plenty of paint left over for the wiper cover plug. At the same time, i also made key hole covers for the doors and painted them to match as well.

Thanks guys! The 3M weatherstrip adhesive (and when I was an auto trimmer-upholsterer we sometimes got it in 5gal tubs) was called "snot"! Who knows why!!?? The plug I got from Jonathan is burnt copper penny and my box is blk cherry but it looks OK (thanks Jonathan!). I will attend to the details soon as I just love the look without all that crap on the back end. I would think it quite easy to find a plug in metric sizes these days but thanks for the 1 1/8 info "Mad".
I noticed that quite a few of the clips holding on the back inner panel broke off and are no good (like all of 'em!). Are these available aftermarket?
Thanks again all,
Socks
