Radio Removal 2004 Scion

I am having trouble with my heater controls and I was told I need to rempve the radio to check the connections on the rear of the switch. Can anyone help?

pull the ***** off unscrew teh 2 screws and pull it off

or you can take out the center consol and check that way, but taking off the ***** and screws sounds easier lol

^ that is how u take out the console, with those screws

i just pop it off with a flathead lol i don't think ive ever unscrewed anything. i only did it once a long time ago, so i might have. ehh...tis life
