For those of you who changed your springs....
Did u guys DIY? or had a shop do it? I saw this thread and I got a little scared that I have to apart the interior just to changed the springs. Im guessing they didn't use spring compressors?

I just did mine tonight useing the walk through some one posted here with pics. There are a few things that need to be added to help out, but realy it wasn't that hard. Well other than those lower strut bolts where tight as hell.
I did mine without a spring compressor and it was cake work. It only took about 1 1/2 hours. The longest part was taking the damn rear interior out with the factory sub in it. Yeah as far as the bolts I used an impact wrench, it makes life easy.

next time use a maglight as a breaker bar for more torque to get those tight bolts =P

it took me about 5 hours just to do the back.... and 1 hour for the front... i did the back on base at the hobby shop and took the factories out with a spring compressor... but the freakin hobby shop was closing so i rode with my back lowered and front stock to my shop and put the front spring and shock assmebly in a vice and it worked just fine... actually easier then a freakin spring compressor.. but the back is defiantly a _____.... i did this a while back with sprint springs but ill be upgrading to tein SS so it will be alot easier this time....
Whhhhaaaatttt!!!! The back was the easiest one to do. It is not hard to take out the rear interior with the sub as much as it is time consuming. I didn't use any spring compression devices I just used brute strength, and had a friend thread the pillow mount nut on while I pushed down on it. Once we got the rear interior out it only took about 15 mins. to do the rear springs.
