anyone using an external HD to store pics? I have a MacMini that ive had since 07. It only has a 80GB internal HD and i dont have much but want to store pics on an external HD in the future. so for the mac guys, anyone recommend a good/cheap external HD?

I made my GF a 1.5TB external. plenty, even for shooting in RAW.

I just bought a HP 1TB on sale for $90 the other day from Best Buy. Coupled with my Seagate 250GB I won't be running out of space any time soon. :P

I have a 1.5 TB waiting to be used as well, once my computer runs out of room.

My Macbook's HD crashed a few months ago, I replaced it with a 320gb, and I have a 500gb external that I use as a backup.... no problem keeping everything local.

I have an internal 1.5TB HD, as well as a 1TB external.

With 18MP RAW files, space fills up QUICK.

3TB of space on the media PC, and 160gb on laptop
