I read the forms and I know how to remove the Scion logo from the back of my XB, I need to know how to affix/glue a Lexus logo on the back. I would also like to know if anyone has removed the front Scion logo and replaced it with a Lexus or other logo and how you do it. Any suggestions would be great.

Use the double stick tape that the body shop uses.

3M doublesided tape for the rear

I would have to go outside and measure the two.. but I think in the front where the scion logo is on the mounting pad.. Ill bet a Toyota or Lexus logo will fit in the mounting pad perfectly..note they all are ovals and I think EXACTLY the same size.. I have to measure the Lexus one on my IS300 and then the Scion one on my xB to be sure though.. :twisted:

it looks tight, but may i ask why people want lexus specifically? yeah they're tight cars, but you arent driving a lexus, so why put it on? i think it'd be funny to put an element emblem on it...that ____ would throw some people off!!

I think I'll put a cadellic emblam on my Pontiac now, ooh ooh or a Jaguar emblem on my Taurus yea that's what I'll do. And let's put some MB logos on a neon kewl!

i originally put the Lexus emblem on as a joke since everyone else was putting on the bB emblems. I know its not a Lexus, and I know its not a bB either.

Use #M red liner double sided tape. Thats what I use at my shop to install everything to the body of a car(emblems,cell phone antennas, ect.)

I want to put the Lexus logo on my car, because two of my co-workers drive Lexus's and they just dont get my car. So I want to show them that the logo does not make the car, but the person driving the car does.

I think if you ran with the luxury on the inside. Leather. Lexus steering wheel, A T.V. or two,maybe a lexus shift knob. It would suit it fine.

I understand where your coming from, and dont plan on changing badges but he likes it. Instead of calling R-CE on him, I felt offering an idea that might pull off the badges would be better.

Personaly... I think hell if he likes it its kewl.. and I think just the stupid look on peoples faces would be worth it... I want to be there when the first person says oh yea its a lexus its new I read all about it... (As if they are informed some how) and Ide just laugh my ___ off at them.. yeah i dont think putting on lexus badges is comparable to "gtr" or"typer" badging. BEACAUSE ITS A JOKE! It makes people do double takes and such. People who throw the other "type r" badges on are serious about trying to prove something or whatever. and THAT is lame and ricey. (purchasing emblems or tailightcovers or altezzas at checker is riceyas well)

BUT being too brand conscious can be a little riddiculous. look at the harley davidson effect. just because we are scion "enthusiasts" doesn't mean that we are so enthusiastic about scions that we are humorless and intolerant of people customization choices when anyone on here gets overlycritical that just brings things down. let people do what they want to their own cars.

oh and dont worry kwicslver the next neon WILL be both mitsubishi and daimler underneath. just like the mazda 3 and the next focus and the next volvo s40 will all be the same car underneath. so maybee you should call all the manufacturers rice since they are (and will continue to MUCH MORE) swapping badges RICER style.
