Call it what you want but I like it. It definitly cant be no worse then putting the bb badge on the car.

I think if you ran with the luxury on the inside. Leather. Lexus steering wheel, A T.V. or two,maybe a lexus shift ****. It would suit it fine.

 

I can totally understand putting bB badges on it....because ultimately that is what it is....but never a Lexus badge.....its just as bad as when guys that own a Civic put the type R badge on there car

 

And a cadillac is a pontiac, a Jag is a Taurus and a neon is a MB from what you are saying! RICE. It is not a Lexus so it shouldn't be badged as such. It looks like crap and is stupid to do it. Just toss a big GT-R badge on it now. It's all the same.

 

I might if it had a type R engine in my civic. Who cares what he does with his badges.
I understand where your coming from, and dont plan on changing badges but he likes it. Instead of calling R-CE on him, I felt offering an idea that might pull off the badges would be better.

 

Personaly... I think hell if he likes it its kewl.. and I think just the stupid look on peoples faces would be worth it... I want to be there when the first person says oh yea its a lexus its new I read all about it... (As if they are informed some how) and Ide just laugh my ___ off at them.. I realy dislike people who are full of ____ and are afraid of the phrase "I dont know" and to me this will most likely point those people out way way ahead of time... :twisted:

 

yeah i dont think putting on lexus badges is comparable to "gtr" or"typer" badging. BEACAUSE ITS A JOKE! It makes people do double takes and such. People who throw the other "type r" badges on are serious about trying to prove something or whatever. and THAT is lame and ricey. (purchasing emblems or tailightcovers or altezzas at checker is riceyas well)

BUT being too brand conscious can be a little riddiculous. look at the harley davidson effect. just because we are scion "enthusiasts" doesn't mean that we are so enthusiastic about scions that we are humorless and intolerant of people customization choices when anyone on here gets overlycritical that just brings things down. let people do what they want to their own cars.

oh and dont worry kwicslver the next neon WILL be both mitsubishi and daimler underneath. just like the mazda 3 and the next focus and the next volvo s40 will all be the same car underneath. so maybee you should call all the manufacturers rice since they are (and will continue to MUCH MORE) swapping badges RICER style.

man oh man, its just an emblem my friends. . .i give my thanks to randode for being the originator of this mod. . .i thought it was a nice touch, so i put one on too. . .he deserves all the props. . .i also put one of the "lexus" logos on the back after i debadged the whole car. . .i mean its funny that people stare at my car clueless, and it makes it even funnier now that people think its a lexus. . .its a joke to me and it makes me smile. . .but calling it "rice" is just ignorant i think. . .but thats just my opinion. . . :twisted:
