View Full Version : A Whole TRD Spring Thread
sexyscionlover 02-11-2005, 06:31 PM Okay heres the deal: I've searched and searched but cant find pictures of TRD lowered xBs and the registry isnt working right for some reason. Theres hundreds of threads on these and they are not relating and really worthless. I want this to be like the Tanabe DF210 thread where it is the be all end all of all TRD spring threads.
I am looking for xBs lowered with TRD Springs and I want to get an impression of how you like them and how they feel. Not to be rude, but I dont want Goldline, Tanabe, Tein or anything else. Just TRD because thats what is going to hold my warranty.
Please feel free to include pictures, reviews, and anything else you think is prevelant to this thread.
sithscripter 02-11-2005, 06:54 PM Here are some shots of an xB with TRD springs and struts:

sexyscionlover 02-12-2005, 04:18 AM thanks. thats good. are there any more out there where people want to contribute?
JStead 02-12-2005, 07:35 PM A;so keep in mind the TRDs will only hold your warranty if they are installed @ the dealership. And be prepared a ;ocal dealership quoted me $600 for labor alone
sexyscionlover 02-12-2005, 07:58 PM thats what i was told by my dealership too. that if its installed somewhere else, its void. thats wrong. TRD parts can be installed by anyone without voiding warranty. if something malfunctions due to improper installation then its all on you, but otherwise its still warrantied. im probably going to end up with these over the tanabes because im holding my warranty dear
BrianxB 02-12-2005, 09:59 PM The TRD warranty states this:
If installed by Toyota, product carries a 3 year warranty,
If installed by other party, product carries a 1 year warranty.
People who know nothing of warranties... geez.... Ill keep my mouth shut.
I had them on my box but yanked them to put in air suspension. They arent low enough for me. They rode way better than stock for sure. I also had the TRD struts...
squareone 02-12-2005, 10:16 PM I got TRD'S on mine, I installed them myself. (check my pics) I'm very pleased with the drop, as it is my daily driver, and in past experiences I've learned that lowering it too much only causes problems. IMO of course...
ScionTist666 03-01-2005, 09:43 PM Love the look of Mine as well. It is my daily city driver and I am on TRD 18's. Sweet!
