Now that's a sweet drop. Those are 2.2 inches in the front and 2 inches in the back correct??????

The ride is Phenomenom... Best ride ever, for those who say the df210's are really bouncy n stiff, thats due to road conditions, define me your definition of smooth and bouncy ride... Tanabe Df210's are made with a special amount of spring rate ratios which are:
Spring Drops: Front: 2.2 Inch Rear: 2.1 Inch
Spring Rates: Front: 2.8 kg/mm Rear: 3.0 kg/mm
<img src=http://img8.photobucket.com/albums/v28/swtbabiboi4u/xangur/tanabe.jpg>
With the springs on my car right now, the ride is not bouncy, its a really smooth ride, it Hugs and hugs the road perfect. right now im just holding off on my Shocks due to the factory shocks are still new and good for another 16 months.

Tokico Blues/Whites are a good recomendation along with Cusco under frame brace along with a Tower brace any brand will due. ur own preferance. As for alignment its perfect no alignment required for Tanabe DF210 had them checkd out already. Camber position is perfect no kit required unless under heavy loads on a regular basis. PM or IM me for any questions on my suspensions.

-Mark :D
P.S. Good Luck with ur suspensions

my estimation my car will be be off the ground about 3.6-4" ride height. car drop estimate front and rear 2.5" drop all around.

Go here, Options Auto. I have had mine for about 2k miles. I have no complaints. They come with replacement bump stops. Randode Racing http://www.randode.com/ installed mine in about 30 minutes.
http://www.optauto.com/webstore/product_list.asp?dept=3677&last=3677 I just checked and they are in stock at $156.00. They ship fast too.
Heres mine http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4287936257&jdx=10[/img]

Is the car level or does it have a nice little rake to the front?

showpaojoe

it has a nice rake in the front. if you see it in person, you can tell there is a subtle dip. it looks real good in person

02-04-2004, 03:54 AM
In simple speak, it is an angle or lean... think motorcycle front forks on a chopper... you know how some are more angled and extend forward? If this( | )is a normal fork, then this( / )is a raked fork.... make sense?

showpaojoe

The POW/MIA was pretty good, the only reason it was so cool tho was because of the detail but the actual design wasn't as creative as some of their other ones

Docsnuff
02-04-2004, 04:57 AM
Well Sr. designed it, that was why the design wasn't what you are used to, most of the other designs are Jr's

mrlaypo
02-08-2004, 07:23 AM
they are the 15" rota grid in gunmetal w/silver lip. i havent taken any pics yet cuz i ended up not being able to put them on until it was already dark outside. but i'll post pics as soon as i can. and the tires are 205/50 michelin pilots. my buddies and i were supposed to drag this afternoon and i heard pilots are pretty sticky so thats what i got..

thanks! ive had those for MONTHS and had yet to do anything with them. my friend offered to trade his slipstreams for my grids but i thought these matched my xb a little better. and i originally had all my lights tinted EXCEPT the rear running lights (and the headlights of course)... but i decided to take everything else off. and i really dont mind the red light toooo much. it does bring out my injen sticker!

cool cool Thanks! =) How do u like ur springs so far?

mrlaypo
02-09-2004, 05:16 AM
theyre ok. im impatiently waiting for them to settle a little more. :P i want that fender gap to POOF and disappear. of course, i guess putting on 15s doesnt really help. but o well. at first i was hesitant to buy these springs cuz a few people on here were complaining that the ride was too bouncy. my rides been ok though. its not any bouncier than the road itself is making it at least.

Chrno
02-09-2004, 06:18 AM
naw its not bouncy.. what you are feeling is the car hugging the road. just wait for the springs to set in and it will be a great ride =) did u get shocks?

mrlaypo
02-13-2004, 06:51 PM
no i havent replaced my shocks yet. theyre still ok. ive left my car alone this whole week cuz im in vegas and not returning til tonight so hopefully theyve settled a liiiiiiittle bit. not as much as if id been driving it but hey, whatever.

Chrno
02-14-2004, 04:59 AM
if you want ur springs to settle in quick and good. jus drive it a lot and try to do lots of turns =)

your stock shocks should be good for another 16 months or so... my car is 6 months old and my shocks are good for another 16 months as well :D
