Default Passenger airbag light

I have a 2009 TC and I hardly ever drive with a passenger, I always thought the passenger side airbag light was in the OFF position since I did not have a passenger. As of yesterday the OFF is not lit up anymore, I tried different scenarios, if I sit in the passenger side and it will switch to ON, if no one sits in the passenger side and I buckle the seatbelt it will switch to OFF, I just always remember seeing it lit OFF with no passenger and was hoping to hear some feedback.

Thanks.

hmmm...i'd help out, but i have a 2005 tC, so i only have a passenger side seatbelt reminder light.

but you do have a 2009, so it should be under warranty still, just take it in and say you want to make sure that the airbag is working properly and you want the light fixed.

Thanks. If anything I will drive to the dealer.

For the ones that have this light, when you drive without a passenger, does the indicator display OFF?

Thanks.
