Default Questions for those of you with INJEN SRI

I just installed my Injen SRI today and i have some questions for those of you who have/had the injen installed and SRI.

When tightening down the clamp for the filter, did you notice that it would slide one way or the other if you tightened too hard? I was trying to find the right spot so that the filter would stay secure. If it was too far inside it would slide towards the maf sensor. If it was too close to the edge it would slide off the pipe. Its on there now because i didnt tighten it too hard but im worried of it slipping off or down at some point. Has this ever happened to anyone.

Also, I got my car washed and the fliter got wet. Is this a big deal? I know it is pretty impossible to hydrolock a car and i probably will eventually convert it into a cai in the future. But, should i be concerned with getting the filter wet when going through a car wash?

Thanks for any info

Never had that issue.

Nope. Water is fine so long as you don't submerge the filter.
