Default i have a dome light idea

I am actually getting ready to drop in a pano sunroof and decided that the dome light should be up in front by by the visors....I am going to put in a Protege 5 dome light...it has map lights...just cut and wiring should be simple, no?

you will need to make sure the fuse is the same amp or put an inline fuse in... also i would mark the positive and neg and ground wires and get a line tester b4 i started. but sounds like a sweet idea... have you thought about gettin the map ligts / garage opener style setup. I dont know how much more work the built in garage opener is but i think all you would need is another 12v connection??? what do ya think??

I'm still not happy with my dual moonroof setup. I wish they
would have let me get the panoramic moonroof like Fujis.

Looking back at my box now, I'm almost wondering if it
wouldn't have been a killer idea to do a spoiler moonroof in
the front, and a panoramic moon in the back?!? Damn that'd
be HOT!

But yeah, they are no longer supporting the panoramic
moonroof in the xB. If you're dealership is going to allow you
to have it done, make sure you have it in writing that they
will replace your box if the roof crinkles or buckles or
whatever.

Honestly, I think only some severe spiritied driving would
damage the box with a panormaic moon, but as thin as the
metal is, you never know for sure...

I forgot to mention, I dropped off my box today to have them
finish the dual moonroof install, I'll take some photos once
I get it back and it's all working correctly.

I'd really like to research a good dome light with map
lights for the front...but I want everything installed and
working before I worry about map lights.

do you guys remember the movie jarassic park ( yeah my spelling suxs ) anyways the old school ford explorers that where the "automatic" tour guids had like plexi tops - now that would be sick on a xb ( imo ) and you could have some kidna fabric similar to the actual liner that could go from the back to the front.

just my .02

isnt there some way to reinforce the roof to support a panoramic sunroof to keep the thing from buckling?

Default DOME/MAP

Do you think its easier to put any DOME or even another xB middle dome , or go with a ~someting like the Protoge rearview with Spots ?
