As posted on www.ecocarcustoms.com

Just went by VPC Servco Scion Hawaii Dealership they had a ton 2011s that just came in this shipment that got here on friday. they are about 15 of them. mostly Black..
I was also told they will not be getting anymore 2010's so what evers out there is whats left and if you dont like the look of the 2011's you better get one soon becuase even the color you want will be hard to get once inventory gets low.
I have to back to get some front shoots and fit the forjworks eyelids on the headlights.

I would go 2010 if you want to do anything to it cosmetic it took us 3 years to get what we have and all the people who buy the 2011 are pretty much starting all over again. If you want a arm rest 2011 all the way HAHAHA!
The refresh has all the little things that should have come on the 08-10. Resale value will probably be better if that matters to you.
I'd say go different and buy a 2011! I mean, you can still do mods for suspension and wheels.
Plus, I'd have to get news on the arm rest and find out if it is swappable.
Plus the telescoping wheel is very, very important IMO. I miss that feature in my previous car, a 94 Acura Legend. It really does make a lot of difference.
Plus, maybe the waterpump problem won't exist with the 2011's? lol

If I was in the market, I wouldn't hesitate to get the 2011.
Thats news to me. Better check that, I'm reading the 2.4L is staying.

AS for parts.. its basicly the same car. Forjworks is on this with production of parts for it. I was supposed to go down to VPC and test fit some parts like the eyelids. Im sure the eyelids will fit becuase from the looks of it. looks like just the bottom side was modified and a parking light was added.
As for the bonnet spoiler they didn touch the hood. so that will fit.
The tails are the same shape as far as it bolting up to the car. but the lens shape is similar to the LED lights that was an option whenyou first bought the car. So that we will have to redesign. As for the wiring it will prob be the same as when you install a rumion tiallight.. you will have to add a wire for the rev lights. and prob switch some pins around.. its an easy mod.. I dont think they would go through the trouble of making a new harness when they l ready had the rumion ones.
Hopefully five axis will make a kip kit or revise the front lip.
as for the intriour im very glad they re did those ugly finny shapped seats that the 08 to 10 came with.. As many might not know or noticed that I had my seats reshaped to that sqaure look that the 2011s come with now.. I did this 3 years ago..
I have something up my sleaves right now that i hopefully can unveil in June.. Stay tunned!

I'm really sorry to sound like a newb here, but what exactly is a telescoping wheel? and what other features would i be get in the 2011, that i wouldn't in the 2010?
I wouldn't mind getting a 2011, I do like the rear bumper, it's just I don't know how crazy I am about the front. I personally love the way the 08-10 look when you swap the grille with no emblem. With the 2011 it looks like the emblem is there to stay..lol
but if there is a lot of exterior mods in production, I'm sure it won't look that bad.

Hmm. Does anyone have a source? Everywhere I read shows the 2.4L is staying.
