The word I've heard about the telescoping wheel is that it only extends as far as the '08-'10's wheel sat standard, and that the telescoping feature is only that because the wheel can now be moved further in to the dash. Anyone know the validity of these claims?

Also, my jury is still out on the '11 with the biggest hang up being the gray fabric and the geometric lines on the seats and doors. Holy moly is that atrocious, to me at least. Enough to, as it stands now, turn me away from the car. I mean, it seems a bit silly to buy a brand new car and then reupholster half the interior, yeah?

 

^ The 08-10 wheel is about 5 1/2 inches from the dash at the top, 11 telescopes from 5 1/8 - 6 5/8 measured from the same spot. Both measure about the same whether tilted up or down.

 

Man, I'd just about kill for an additional 1/2" on the steering column, 1" and I'd swear I died and went to heaven ! Mine is currently tilted totally down.

 

has anyone swapped out the stock 2011 tails yet?

 

^^^ I'm gonna do a Rumion Tail Light swap I'll let you know how it looks. I cant wait till it gets here. I saw someone from Guam swapped out 2011 tail lights to an early xb2 model. I noticed a small gap towards the bottom where the rear bumper & the tail lights meet. The gap kinda looks like when u swapped a Rumion tail lights on an early xb2. Now I'm thinking when I swap mine to a Rumion tail light it'll be just a perfect fit. I don't like the '11 tail lights at all.
