so i have a set 0f 002 15x8 with stock tires 185 60 15.
I put only weights inside and not on the exposed outside of the wheels. worked well on my 15x6.7 konig heluim before but i was told that because i didn't want it to look ugly with wheel weights on the outside lip i will get vibration at high speed. ( i feel above 60mph).

Anyone else know a solution to this problem while keeping with the slick loook on the lip??

You can balance just about any wheel with stick-on weights. Did you just stick them on at random? Try getting them professionally balanced on a tire machine. Only real way to balance them, pretty precise

^^ really?!?!?! why would you hammer on your own weights.. doesn't make sense, you could be putting them more out of balance that way

I have the weights on the inside of m 513s, and they turned out fine. Granted, I had it professionally done, of course, so that makes a difference.

i had mine done on a machine with stick on weights. won't balance.

the shop says due to the width of the wheel and narrowness of the tire. if i stick weight on both the outside and inside it would solve it. but i want a clean look on the lips.

That simply doesn't make sense. Take it to another shop and have them do it right.

What size tire do you have on there anyway?

185/60r15 good year. stock ones that came with the car.
i want to have static balancing... but was told due to the width of the rims only dynamic balancing can correct it.

so your saying that wieghts need to be put on the outside of the wheel, on the chrome lip part??? ive never heard of such a thing and cant imagine anyone ever doing this, that would look so retarded. actually it would be pretty funny if someone actually did this, and can see a picture of that on one of those rice threads, lol. it sounds like you need to go to a place that knows what the hell they are doing.

Is there any spots behind the spokes to add weights so they are kinda outta sight. If they can center the weights the assembly it should balance out. Also, find a shop that can Load Force Balance the wheels. The machine will basically tell the tech where the tire needs to be on the rim so the least amount of weight is needed. It's more work moving the tire around the rim but works out better in the long run.
