Default Motor

Any one know if a 2007 and 2010 xb have the same motor or are they different.

there is no such thing as a 2007 xB. they skipped the 2007 model year. so it would have to be 08 or newer.

So do you know if it has the same motor as the 2010

all the 2nd gen xb's have the same motor 2azfe aswell as the tc

When it comes to actual engine mods, I take it that the only difference is the way that the engine bay is shaped and set up?

I presume you're referring to tC Vs xB2 engine "bolt on" mods. Yes, the clearances tend to be different due to the different chassis/body design. However, some things are the same, the lightweight pulleys for example.

2008-2010 are the same 2.4L 16V 2AZFE

2011-up are now 2.5L motors (not sure of the engine code)

Wrong, all 2G xB's have the 2.4L engine. There won't be any engine change before the 3G arrives (and maybe not even then) -- count on it!
