Hey guys. Have any of you gotten any cracks in your windshield? Please tell me I'm not the only one who has this dilema. Does anyone know how to repair a crack or where to get fixed? I'm in the Carson area. The crack is starting in the center of the windshield. I want to take care of this B-4 it gets any bigger.

but i got one last month...couple of norcal guys here got their windshield replaced already....one guy replaced three times

 

I found one a week ago. I did hear that you should use an OEM windowseal upon replacing rather than a custom cut one. Keep us posted cuz I need to do this soon also.

 

Where is there a repair center around here for cracked windshields? Is there a way for me to fix it myself?

 

yeah, there is a way to fix it. pull up next to a concrete truck or a gravel truck, write down the company, the truck number and the license plate number, remember where you are at. make sure the truck has some debris coming out of it. and call it in. those truck company's insurance companies are good about replacing windshields!!!! haha, im 100% just kidding, take it to any auto glass place, almost all of them fix cracks

 

got mine replaced ppg glass is much cheaper than oem but ya have to find someone who carries it - i found it from all-star glass (there a national company) but you have to get the molding from the dealer - total cost: $420
