so for the carbon fiber hatch is everyone still just using there hand to hold it up or did someone finally find something that will work to hold it up?

Lol thanks been using that for like 6 months already and it's getting kind of annoying lol. And I would like to just chill in the trunk with out the worry of it falling with the stick there. Lol.

Custom length gas-tube struts can't be worked into the mix? I'll look into it because my buddy just got one for his tC. I'll let ya know what we come up with.

He said something about it possibly breaking the glass or whatever. I'm not sure how but I think it's related to the force needed to shut it like you would with a normal hatch. When you close the CF hatch, it bows in right where the CF and glass meet if you drop close it. My buddy just sets it down soft, then nudges it closed like you would with a CF hood.

The problem is the fitment issue with it not sitting flush while closed. Too bad there isn't anything that you can lift manually and it locks in place then when you want to close the hatch, just use extra force to unlock it.

Makes me sad, I gotta play with adding and removing some washers where it bolts to the car.

In these pics, I don't think they're even on. Trying to get the thing to sit down more. So it's flush.
