Default Changing out the trim

ne ideas on doing the inside trim?i wanna make alot of my xB inside silver, my friend said just pull out what you can and spray it with paint is that a good idea?or should i jus go to a shop and order some trim deatils for the inside?

it is all about the money you want to spend! trim=$$$$$$$$ paint =$$ if you paint and do it RIGHT the out come is awesome. but if you have the money spend it on trim pieces

I agree with Toolbox, if you have the money purchase new trim. All too often people doa half-___ paint job and it turns out scandalous. Unless you are willing to put in the time to paint properly, buy new trim pieces, replacing is always better than trying to adapt old style to new.

House of Tints in Tustin has all kinds of different "dash type" layover pieces. I think they can custom mold them to your interior wherever you want. Got brushed aluminum, silver carbon fiber, purple carbon fiber, chrome, wood, ect. ect. ect.

if you want to paint the plastics, then you will want to sand it down with a fine sand paper to get rid of grain. after that you might need some type of filler depending on how good you sand it and then primer it. after that you can paint like a car. it is not that easy of a job. what ever you do, DO NOT just spray paint the existing part with no prep as it will crack very easily and turn out bad.

thanks thats a thought, but ill probably paint sounds better. looked good when people did it
