So how hard is it to install a custom stereo in these cars?
Hey guys, I am buying a 2010 tC at the end of the month, currently just waiting for the dealership to recieve my order. Right away I am planning on replacing the headunit with a Pioneer AVIC X-920BT. Id like to install it myself, but am unsure of if I would be able to do it. Is it hard on these cars?
not hard at all; they make custom wiring kits for our cars through sonicelectronix.com or crutchfield or hifisoundconnection.com; and stereos aren't bad. check out the interior section on here of the 'post up your system' for tc's. there's some crazy ones out there that vary from tc to tc
Can you send me a links to the wiring kits? I can't seem to find any on either of those websites...

Is that the one?

I got this link to all the wiring harnesses on the website, but which one is for scion? There are multiple for toyota but none for scion.

^^you may have to call and ask him. like he said most places through in the brackets and wiring harnesses with the headunits. when i bought both of my head units they came with the brackets, wiring, and the one came with end pieces for the d3 to close up the gaps on each side
