I want something besides my stock struts because i don't want to just have to replace them later on because i am going to be commuting pretty far to school so they would most likely blow quickly so i dont have the time or money to do this all fast later on i'd rather do it all at once.

i just don't want it to handle badly, i heard that a lot of spring setups can be really bumpy and drive pretty much like ____ so i don't want that to happen

honestly I would just go with the TRD struts. I got mine on ebay for a pretty good deal. Car rides and handles great with TRD springs/struts and rear sway

trd springs on factory struts will be fine for a long time, reason being is that they are not low but stiffer than other springs that put more wear onto the struts due to the travel movement that the struts make when hitting a bump. i ran trd springs on factory struts for a while and they where find, gave them to a friend who is currently running them and still 0 problems and idk how many miles but alot lol. i've also ran s-techs and got about 30k miles and did feel my struts wearing down but s-techs are alot lower and alot softer than the trd's which caused my struts to travel alot more than when i was on trd's.

yeah thanks. the thing is i'm going to be going to school and i know it takes quite a bit of time to do the springs/struts so i'd rather do it all at once since i'm barely going to have any time as it is. i still have my trd springs but it's so hard to find trd struts and im tryin not to pay the 500+shipping on trdsparks since i hve to pay for school. lol if anyone knows anybody thats sellin the trd struts let me know. thanks

it would be cheaper to stay with your stock struts, let them wear out and then pay for new stock struts and installation later on.

your stock struts will last a long time with your trd springs. what are you expecting to do with your tc? drive 3000 miles a week with 500 lbs of cargo?

by last long, we're talking about 40,000 miles plus under normal load.

it sounds like you want to spend money on more parts and are looking for any excuse to do it.

that's about normal for struts; only other options are tokico or koni and koni are almost as much as a set of coilovers and tokico is almost the same price as trd
