I just picked up some new 18" rims (katana ninja 2's) and I got some new tires with them (lexani 225/40zr1.

I'm running a stock suspension with no mods done and I noticed that when I have people in the back seat, my wheels tend to rub when hitting minor bumps.

Is there any way to resolve this?

 

What's the wheel width and offset? I don't see how you could be rubbing on stock suspension.

 

Im not sure how to measure the off set, but i do know that the rims are 18x7.5.

It seems to only happen in the back when there are people in the car.

 

whoaaa lol you def should def not be rubbing on that...unless well some of your friends are...um...overweight?? no offense

 

Lol but still with stock suspension? They would have to be huge for them to make the tires rub. Take off your wheel and look on the back, the center bore or one of the spokes. It has the offset printed there.

 

Take a picture and post it. That would help us alot to diagnose.

i could see it...i have those same tires, and they run wayyyy big.

I have 225/45's and when i got 3 people in the back it rubs a bit when going through dips. im on stock wheels with s techs though.

 

But why is the question here.
