Default Help with turbo decision

Just wondering if anyone out here has the Treadstone kit. Does it run good, meaning are the check lights on, idle ok, etc. Would the Dezod kit be a better choice? I'm kind of skeptical with the Treadstone kit not having engine management so that's why I'm asking if car runs well. Looking to get the most reliable power, not trying to break records, or engine parts for that matter.

I believe the treadstone kit is still being made? At least they still show it on their website. To be honest, Im also skeptical of the no management, imho id NEVER run a non-boosted car converted to boost without management of some sort. Im a big fan of the FIC but maybe its just because on the 4 installs Ive done ive had great luck with it. As for the rest of the kit though - it really seems like a solid kit. I for one though dont have first hand experience with it - only know what others have said - except for the manifold - which I run and would recommend to anyone

i have there manifold but thats it. it cracked on me. granted its been a year. its cheap, and descent. as far as no management. its stupid to boost anything without a proper tune...even a already boosted car, the stock ecu is not designed around other modifications.

Which is why it works w/o a piggyhack like the FIC or Ultimate. As for the cast iron manifold cracking after a year, imagine how much sooner a 304 P-Tuning, Descendant or Dezod mani would crack under the same conditions.

The OP should call Ancla Motorsports and talk to them about the kit. They designed it.

I wouldnt run a turbo with out some sort of tune and or engine management... with out it your prone to so many internal issues that can destroy your engine.
