Don't go by what people tell you. The good thing is that this forum has been around for so long. Search through it and you should find people's first hand experience of what worked and what didn't. There are many people who had good reliability, and several others that blew their transmissions.

Consider their experience as your R&D.

I've done a ton of research on this, and generally speaking, you should look at 5-6 PSI, max of around 225 at the wheels with a transmission cooler and good synthetic fluid.

That being said, nothing is guaranteed; your ____ could blow up immediately or last a decade.
