do I need the mounting kit or can I reuse the old ish?

unfortunately, my roommate's mom threw it out. sigh.

might end up getting the kit from sparks anywhoo.

Mounting kit, you mean the brackets?
When you got the sway bar, it should of came with two brackets and just re-use your old nuts that was used to mount onto your previous sway bar.

And it comes with some lube for the brackets as well. hehe I thought I should of throw that in there.

Lets not forget that it also comes with bushings for the brackets.
