TEIN S TECH QUESTION
Alright so im on TRDs right now but i want to go lower and im thinking about getting the tein s-techs, BUT i have 18" rims right now, how would that feel? wouldnt it be too low since its 2.4 in front and 2.0 in rear? let me know please

i wouldnt think so...at the most you might have to dial some neg. camber but not much of it....as a side note, the new version of the s-techs do not go as low as the old version anyways

also depends on your tire size... if you got low profile tires (im pretty sure you do) then i dont think you would have any problems...
new version??? what are the specs on the new version??
new version??? what are the specs on the new version??

im not sure of the specs but from what has been posted on here, there is like an updated version of the stechs or some crap, they dont drop anywhere near as low as the original stechs

what really? i didnt know they had new versions out. whats the drop then? i was thinking about switching my htechs for them or get racelands.

I'm also really curious about the change in the Tein S-Techs overall drop. If they arn't as low anymore I may have to switch from buying the H-Techs and just go for the *new* S-Tech springs. Going for flush but can't go too low because it'l bottom out on my wheel well LEDs.

i dont have first hand experience but from what ive read and heard from people who have recentley bought some stechs, they were very disappointed in the "new" drop...again, i dont know as im on the older stechs

They shouldn't be any smaller of a drop than the H-Techs, right? That should put them in a range of 1.9-2.4inch on the front and 1.5-2.0inch on the rear. As small of a difference that seems to be there really isn't all that much of a visual difference, is there? I mean, people can mistake the H-Techs for maybe being stock and thats a 1.5-1.9inch difference. I just find it hard for people to all be noticing a difference of half an inch, maximum, and being so disappointed with it. Even if it was the half an inch difference, that would mean that if you order the S-Techs you're really getting H-Techs, otherwise the difference is slightly marginal, just my 2 cents. Thoughts?
