Default kaminari body kit fitment question

Hey guys I got a kaminari body kit painted and I am having a problem on the fitment. Everything fits as good as everyone said it would but I'm having a problem with the bumpers cliping into the side clips on the fenders. When I push them in the go in but they don't clip at all. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did you fix this?
Thanks

they might need to be trimmed some. compare the mounting points on the kaminari to the factory bumper cover.

mine pops out all the time. I just re-pop them in when I go to shows. I've never been able to get them to stay in place. As soon as I start to drive, they both pop out. Also a bunch of others I have talked to have the same issues.

I have had my kit on (the full kit including CF Hood and Wing) for almost 2 years now, and i have this issue as well....

Mainly on my rear passenger side. It sticks out, and the points bend outward!!! ARG! I have tried to get these back in, but no go...

Got to find a way to make it stay..

I would love and update ASAP, on how to get it to stay in.

Anyone ever compared the weight of these bumpers vs. stock ones. Maybe the stock clips need to be upgraded because the kami bumpers are heavier than stock ones. Just a thought.

I will have the write-up done soon, the problem is not hard to address, the clips Toyota used on these bumpers are finicky at best. Combine that with a lot of body shops breaking the clips while removing the OEM bumper and not paying attention to alignment on reassembly, and this is what happens. I will have fixes for everyone ASAP!

@ Need4Bass05:

Weight is no the issue, our bumper is made of the same type of material with similar thickness as OEM...
