I am thinking about running 19x7.5- 8x100 with +40 offset..
I am askin for trouble if I plan to drop my box somewhere between 2 and 2.5 inches?
I have been planning on goin with 18's for a while now, but I love 19's I am just worried about havin problems....
What do you think?

It sure would look nice, but it might rub when you turn or hit a decent size pothole. It depends on the offset.

i say screw it and put some 24's on the little orange box and call me in the morning! so what if the top of the tire and rim stick up over the hood, that is what fabricating is all about!!!!
seriously though, TRD makes 19in rims right? so i would think that putting 19's on it would hurt it too much, you may want to roll the fenders 2 in is alot for 19's though, so basically what i am saying is "I have no freaking clue and this post is worthless"

DOC, isn't that the same size as the 19" racingharts that TRD is selling as accessories(same offset and width), if so than i think they may rub only at full lock turns to each side.

I just orderd 18s because i didnt want to chance anything not fitting with a 40 offset.. aguy at Victoria tire said 19s is a no go.. moron... I told him its a factory option and he just got quiet.. he said I can sell you these 19s (19X7.5 40mm) but i cant take them back.. sooo I went to the 18/7.5s with a 40 offset.. I have caved a bit on my original intentions but I think overall ill feel better knowing I got no problems..I also got 2" goldlines commin..

fitment issues can be a tricky one, especially when you start the drop and going to higher sizes.. I think EvilDave has 18s with a slight drop to it and rubs on the extreme end of turning... PM or check his profile and see what kind of drop he's running

So no real "expert opinion" here? It is getting close to time.... I need some advise!

I'm putting 19x 8 Axis NE-0s with BF Goodrich Parada 225/35/19s on my Xb. Les Schawb is installing them and standing behind their work no questions asked. Every car manufacturer always has guidelines that are, in a word, conservative. I own an 04 E500 that I put 20 inch Lowenhart LDRs on. Mercedes said it wasn't possible. The LDRs are 20x10 rear and 20x9 front and they fit fine with no fender triming. My Xb wheels are going to do the same thing. Come to think of it......I might go with dubs just to prove a point.
