Default USB/AUX port

I hooked up a USB thumb drive to it filled with music. The manual says it can play music off the drives, but its not working. It doesn't recognize the drive. Is it suppose to be a certain thumbdrive brand?

One problem is, it's actually not powering up the flash drive. That might be the problem. I'll be going to the dealership to have them check it out.

If the light on you thumb drive is not blinking, then it's not getting power. Mine worked well, at least until I whacked it enough reaching into the little compartment in front of it! Sounds like a service call to Scion.

When the 2010s just started showing up at dealership, there were tons of people who were bringing home a new 2010 with a deck from a 08/09 because the dealers were installing the wrong ones...I'm going to bed that it's what happened here.

Yeah, I scheduled a time to go this Saturday. It's not even recognizing an AUX cable going to my iPod.

Yeah, i was speaking with the manager of the local Toyota dealership here. He said he use to be a manager of Scion. When they delivered the 2010 xB's, they came without radios. So they had to order radios and put it in before putting it in the lot. He said what might be happening is that theres 3 plugs back in the radio, two of them arent plugged up perhaps. We'll see soon enough though.

Thanks for all the help guys.
