TRDezodtC 08-16-2010, 04:12 PM Check a parts store for duplicolor engine paint. I know they make a dark green color, I used it on my 4x4 blazer calipers a few months ago. amccloud 08-17-2010, 06:12 AM From what i've read, engine paint won't hold up on calipers. Any other suggestions? TCnightrider 08-17-2010, 10:16 PM G2 caliper paint bionictony 08-17-2010, 11:16 PM you could have them powder coated also. TRDezodtC 08-18-2010, 02:02 AM I think the G2 is more of a lime green. If your afraid of it coming off you might as well powdercoat them.. mindoculae 08-19-2010, 11:09 PM if you don't mind the cost, you can create the color yourself by buying G2 yellow and blue caliper paints and mixing them. you can add a touch of black engine paint to adjust the hue. Spicy_McHaggiz 08-20-2010, 02:19 AM From what i've read, engine paint won't hold up on calipers. Any other suggestions? If you prep the caliper correctly, it will hold up. Engine paint is designed for higher temps then the brakes see, while still being blasted by years of abuse and weather. Prep is key to all painting adventures. burstaneurysm 08-20-2010, 03:35 AM Engine enamel holds up great. My calipers with engine enamel held up better than my roommate's calipers with caliper paint.
