Default still no aftermarket control arms?

So Ive seen a thread on here a while back talking about aftermarket lower control arms for the tCs similar to the ones That Honda runs and there wasn't any word of progress(no pun) for them. and with the surge of tC's running coilovers thanks to raceland and rokkor tuning, I'm still pretty shocked that there hasn't been anything in that area for the tCs. Sure its mostly cosmetic for the Honda crowd but they still run them and I think they look awesome. IT would probably be the same for the tC also.
Soooo...is anyone else with me on trying to get some companies to look into this? I know I would buy a complete set for my car rear Lca's and even tie bars to put on my car, So what about the rest of you?

I'd buy it. My buddies RSX Progress sway bar came with a very nice tie bar with progress logo on it.

I know it doesn't do much but it still looks great

I have a friend with that on his rsx too, and along with red LCA's. It looks awesome driving behind him. Im sure if a company produced some alot of tc owners would buy them, Just gotta find a company to convince...

If it was too big then yes it probably would, and it would also depend on the exhaust piping too. The exhaust on hondas is run above the passenger control arm/anti-roll bars from what I see so that helps with being able to see the suspension parts under. But maybe aftermarket tie rods(what I meant to say) would look nice under there also.

^^ yeah the exhaust is directly in the way of a tiebar. But if you look at our setup, that is the connection for the rear tie-rods. lol. It's already reinforced there from the factory.

but i do agree and wonder why there aren't any lower control arms available from the aftermarket. maybe they think we dont represent enough of a market?

and yes can't even find the rear tie-rod/arms aftermarket either.

well maybe we could get together a list of members on scionlife who would be interested. There was a little buzz generated with the Pw:jdm company on here but that didn't really go anywhere.

Maybe raceland would be interested in trying something since they already have a huge market with their coilovers over here.

and the only things ive found for aftermarket control arms on the tc is this weird contraption http://www.amazon.com/Specialty-Prod.../dp/B000SIBP12

that link you posted is not what your talking about, if you read the description its just the SPC camber arms, which is similar to the Hotchkis camber arms except they are not adjustable, they are just slightly longer to add 2 degrees of positive camber. the picture is not an acurate picture for what it is.

I realized that wasnt a lower control arm I just thought it looked weird, and how it was the only thing I saw for other suspension mods.

I wonder how we could get a company to even look into it. Maybe I could write a nice letter to someone..

That is a rear chassis brace for that bar. Seen here:

I doubt you will get anyone to produce a control arm as there is minimal need for one with all of the current nice suspension pieces that are on the market for tC already.

If you want controls arms because they "look" good (even though its hard as crap to see em) then clearly you're buying them for the wrong reason. In that case, I have powder coated control arms for sale asap.....
