Well changed the headliner last ngiht and a,b, and c pillars as well to black. Left the little accents I.E. sunvisor, oh ____ bars lol, and the light map domes in there original color. Everything else is changed. I got a few other things in the process but won't show that till later!

Was easy. Took maybe 4 hrs if that. All painted. I used around 6 cans on everything of duplicolor vinyl and fabric spray

 

you sprayed your headliner black or you changed that out?

Thanks man, I couldn't be happier how it came out. Now need to do my dash pieces! Not black tho. I am digging the gray handles and visors it adds a small touch to it. I have a chromish ebrake handle and alluminum shift **** so another reason I kept it the way they are.

 

Hmmm which dupicolor did you use? i might do this. and accent those door sills and dome pieces blue.

interesting option I want to do my in suede soon ......I did my trailblazer SS and it made a world of difference.

 

Hey quick question.. I have a 2011 xb I dont know if you came across this issue but I redid my headliner with a white fure yesterday and it looks great but i really want to do my pillars too. I can get the rear ones no problem but the front pillars are clipped on pretty good and i cant seem to get them off. I assume this is because of the airbag but I just want it off how did you go about getting past those clips?

 

It just pops right out nice and easy. I did mine with the car parked in the sun and it took no effort to remove.

 

The front a pillers have a clip that when the airbag deploys it doesnt come flying at you. What you have to do is pop them out as far as you can and find a clip that holds them in and then you just have to twist them to get them to pop off.
