Default Wheel color Change. I need your opinions!

So I got these wheels for a pretty good deal. They are 17x7.5 not really the fitment I wanted but for the wheel I thought it was a good choice. Had sum curb rash and one of the outer edges of the wheel was a lil bent so I took them to get fixed. And since they are there, I figured I get a color change. They are a two piece so I was thinking of doing that parts tthats in gold in chrome red or chrome black and leaving the lip polished. What do you guys think? If you have any other color combinations lemme kknow. O, and I'm gonna be getting the car re-painted flat white.

matte white car sounds bad ___. Maybe matte black rims would go nicely with the scheme you are thinking of.

I thought of that as well... but for the style of rim Im not sure if it would flow. Thats why I was thinking more like chrome black... im not sure tho. I dont wanna keep em gold cuz its been over-done

i agree with your gold comment.
chrome black is a bad ___ color. i just feel like a shiny wheel with a matte car will attract to the rims too much.
but it's your car, do what you think is best.

Does truck bedliner come in white??? Low blow, I know. I think the chrome too might be a bit too much contrast against the matte. Search around the net though, someone might have done a similar scheme.

See thats kinda the point... I want the rims to kinda stand out a bit. But I've seriously thought about candy blue, when I first got the idea about painting them, thats the color I thought of first... keep the ideas coming though

You are gonna rock those on the tC? I like those wheels but only certain cars can pull them off and I dont see the tC doing it. I hope it looks good though.

OP: matte white will be sick but chrome anything is meh! do a matte bronze! or matte orange to really offset the white! i have seen these wheels on a bunch of drift cars and they look sexy in crazy colors!

well all the red is going... I have the interior gutted right now. I was thinking about leaving it that way or doing all black interior. And like I said, the car is getting painted flat white pretty soon. Figured if I do black and white it leaves me open for color choices. Especially since its a two peice wheel, I can change with the seasons. lol

gloss black rims would look tight with a flat white car!
IMO

I really like those wheels. Go with somethng that stands out against a white car. Green (not neon green), deep blue, or a deep red.

The black does lok real good. But like I was saying, wheels need to stand out. This is kinda what Im thinking, lemme know what you guys think. Im thinking candy blue w/ mirror finish, and I was able to score some red extended rays lugs from bdis3 (thanks!) and there are sum allen head screws that hold the two piece rims together Im also gonna get those done in red to match and leave the lip high polished. i think coloring the lip would be a bit much. What do you guys think? The engine bay will sorta match when Im done with it.
