I picked up my Tein Basics on Saturday, and installed them as soon as I got back. The install is fairly simple and straightforward.
Here is one last look at my stock tC...

Tein fronts vs the OEM front...

Not the best way to do this, so rent a spring compressor if you can.

One side done...

Fronts Installed! Almost done...

Tein rears in comparison to OEM...

Rears Installed!

4 Hours of hardwork and a quick wash...

So far, I'm really impressed with the Basics. The car handles so much better, and the ride quality is just firm enough without being too stiff. These coilovers are perfect for what I needed them for, just some spirited daily driving

$750 picked up from World One Performance in Seattle.

Ask for Alex, he's a really good guy. They have really good prices on Tein products.

wow, i like it! i've been considering getting the s-techs but i dont really want to deal putting em on oem shocks and worry about the shocks some 10k or 20k miles later. but i didnt even know coilovers for our car was out. 750 seems cheap for me sweet
$750! WOAW! Need to jump on that when I do my spensions. I was going to go the TRD route but if I can get TEIN coils for $750 oh man, plus some sway bar action (have a dc sports carbon strut bar on the way) that would be great! Need to open a new savings account for the SCION!
Ugh Whyd u show me these pics..
I bought Tein S Techs for 150.00 Off Ebay and I wanted Coilovers but I didnt know..So now Im gonna sell em back on Ebay and wait for Coilovers.. Thanks LOL

Thanks for all the comments, guys!
So far, I am really impressed with the ride. I thought the ride might be a little too stiff for daily driving, like my MR2 is.....but in my opinion, its perfect. I'll have to find a good, twisty road sometime soon!
Yeah, pretty creative spring removal method, huh?!
Thanks! Your advice was what finally made me take the plunge and trade in the ol' GSR for the tC.....and I don't regret it at all! Definitely show me some pics once you get your coils on, I'd love to see it!
