Ok car looks great but two problems

like what someone else said have fun with the alignment. I dont like coilovers cause they mess with your cornerweighting and can actually make your car handle worse at high speed turns,

Anyway, why did you compress the springs? You dont need anything form the stock suspension for these coilovers?

Besides those things car looks cool

uh... "daily driver"

For a daily driver you can go without corner weighting a car. You just have to be mindful that each side is the exact height. A RWD car, you'd want a little more weight in the rear, but an even adjustment works best in a FWD. Obviously, after you get the alignment you don't want to change the settings.

Of course if you plan to Auto-X the car, which 99.9999% of you won't be doing, corner weighting the suspension is very important.

You need to use the stock mounts for the Tein Basics. You wouldn't want, or even need the upper pillowball mounts if your car is a daily driver. I believe the next step up, the Tein SS is compatible with the upper mounts. The mounts alone are about $200?, not including the extra money you have to put down for the SS. So, if you don't see yourself needed all that adjustability, save your money and get the Basics.

reagulator: Your correct, well almost... SHE didn't buy the upper mounts.

Thanks for clarifying that, Rusker

Yeah, I never had any alignment "issues" with the Tein coilovers on the turbo Celica I used to have.

i dont know everything about suspension but one of the main points of coilovers is that it allows the ride height to be variable. the trd shock/springs are just replacements of the oem shock/springs. ones at a fixed ride height
