View Full Version : How hard is it to install coilovers? VoLktc 03-07-2005, 05:57 PM i purchased some tein ss-p coilovers for a good price (1179) and was wondering how hard would it be to install them myself? niksmr2 03-07-2005, 06:11 PM Its pretty easy. You just need a few simple tools. Since you have the pillowball mounts, you don't have to deal with taking the stock strut apart. I installed my Tein basics on my tC this past weekend, and even though I had to use the stock top mount, I got the job done within a few hours. VoLktc 03-07-2005, 08:37 PM sweet any other input i need to hear? MrChoyBoi 03-07-2005, 09:07 PM It is rather easy to replace to a coilover system. But its not hard, just a bit time consuming to take it all apart and put back together. unseen 03-07-2005, 10:27 PM Well, it sucks to access the rear top mounts, under the carpeting.
